I wasn’t able to make our Stampin’ Up! 2015 Leadership this year in Orlando, Florida.
So sad, right!?! But my sciatica has been really acting up along with my FMS especially from the weather, that it actually prevented me from going to ‘nice weather’. How crazy is that…
But the great news is Stampin’ Up! had a LIVE FEEDS for the three day conference for all the demonstrators who couldn’t attend to watch. Very Cool!
Unfortunately I only was able to watch an hour of the first LIVE FEED, HA!
I had appointments, customers dropping by for their orders and other things that prevented me from viewing the rest of the LIVE Feeds…
But I did see part of the opening session with Shelli the first day before my PT came to the house.
Yes, you heard it, I have a Physical Therapist that comes to my home, thank God!
If you, a loved one, or friend live in Ocean, Monmouth, Jackson or in a surrounding area (New Jersey) and are in need of a Physical Therapy I highly recommend Current Rehab.
Okay, back to Leadership…. so Shelli Gardner, the co-founder & CEO of Stampin’ Up! was speaking about the changes.
And then, starts to smile from ear to hear sharing with us the FUNNIEST question she had received… Wait for it….
Why you might wonder!??! – simply because I had asked myself that same question a few times and I’ve been with Stampin’ Up! since 2000! LOL
There have been and will be lots of changes with Stampin’ Up! and we just need to catch our breath, that’s all.
The company is strong, and doing very well.
They needed to simply things which means change. Catalog releases and such things are better when the Global company unveils everything on the same date, at the same time. It all makes sense, but it’s all a change for us in the United States.
The changes are NOT bad. But change is always different and it takes a little getting used to.
When you change the dates on catalog releases and other events, our (my) business schedules have to be revamped and I don’t know about you but I like being in control and with change, you lose your control until you settle in and adapt. Hair sticking up, claws out like a cat, face expression, ‘ What the heck’… LOL
But it will all work out, just always remember the glass is half full and that it can always be worse… LOL
Those are my two motos in life : )
The most important one is – Always be thankful and thank God for being Blessed.
At Leadership they always have an awesome event called the Manager’s Reception. Managers and above earned their spot to attend and it is so much fun. Missing that was the hardest, but I got to see what they did by fellow demonstrator blogs so that was fun : )
I also missed receiving free products, winning prizes, walking on stage for varies accomplishments, but I’m so glad to have enjoyed such a belly laugh with Shelli : )
