Do you even know what that is?
I didn’t either, until I attended I think it was the 2009 Stampin’ Up!’s convention. They handed out a Workshop in a Bag to all who attended.
Well, I finally got around to going through that Bag the other day. Please, let’s not go there:) Yes, I had this bag hanging in my office for that time. I just kept moving it around until I got to it! But I did, get to it and guess what? I LOVED it… They used a cool card template… It’s really so easy, but I have never thought of it in all the years I’ve been creating greeting cards! (over 15 years)
Of course what fun is it learning new techniques if you can’t share it your stampin’ friends… right!?
So below you will see the card samples I created using only the Easy Events Stamp Set found on page 34 in the 2012 IB& C offered in Clear & Wood.
Wood Mount Tip:
I purchased this set in wood so I could mount the words on the side, and the image on the ‘normal side’. Why you may ask? So I can use the images when ever I like. Now this stamp set is much more versatile.
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I’ll explain, or do a post showing this.
Card Making Tips:
1. Seal envelope
2. Use the Stampin’ Up! 2 1/2″ Circle Punch and punch about 1/2 way down on one side of the envelope.
3. Use your Stampin’ Up! Paper Snips and trim a tiny bit off the top edges, so you can slide your card inside.
4. Decorate card and create coordinating envelope.
* The cards below have been created using only exclusive Stampin’ Up! products.
Hope you enjoyed my cards! If so, let me know, how else will I know?
Also feel free to let me know what you would like to see or learn!
