I had so much fun making this adorable little piggy last night for our Stamper's Club Swap this evening (Wednesday)… I normally have my swaps ready way before then, like by Monday night (snort), but one of our newest club members came over and we made our swaps together. It was so much fun!
Pat is new to stamping and tonight is going to be her first card swap. I love the card design she decided on last night. Stay tuned for a photo of it in the near future…

I love looking through all kinds of magazines for funny & unique ideas… I saw a plack quite a while back, that said, 'If you're not going to Snort, why laugh?".
Well, that struck a funny bone, because if you've ever had a friend snort when they are laughing, it may cause you, like it does me, to have a belly laugh!
Now, if you notice I did say, when a friend snorts, it's not so funny when I snort because it's kinda a painful, isn't it!?! (Snort)
As I read things that I like, I cut them out and put them in a folder. You know how that goes hu? Save it for a rainy or creative day.. which may or may not come?
Well, when Jenn, a club member suggested on a Child's card theme for a club swap, I thought, great, I can do my piggy.
I'm thinking I just changed my kids card into an adult card, but hey aren't we all kids at heart? Oh come on, I know I'm not the only one out there?!?! Snort!
My piggy back looks like this… I thought if I shared this with my customers, I jsut might make cruise on land next year with the sale of dimensionals alone!
Ah, never mind, Dimensionals cost only $3.95 for 300! I need to pick a MORE expensive product… (Bad Lois peaking her head out for a bit)
The Stampin' Up! cruise next year is 'on land' at Walt Disney - in Fla… You may say, ah, I've been there, done that… But NOT Stampin' Up! Style, that's all I can say:) snort
Here's a FUN FACT about this PIG CARD:
1) I got the idea for using the 3/4 circle punch and cut into it to create a spiral to create the curly pig tale at a convention I attended when they showed a spiral pop up card.
2) I got the idea for punching a 3/4" Circe out of Basic Black piece of card stock and putting it behind the head for eyes from another convention. More ways to use our punches!
3) I got the idea for punching the 5 Flower Punch and cutting the petals off to make the ears when I saw someone demonstrate on stage how to use the same punch for leaves at a different convention.
So as you can see, I pick up alot of fun and useful tips attending convention, which costs only about $1,000 for a great time! (snort)
Hum, so come to think about it, this card cost me $3,000 not including materials… Snort, snort….
If you enjoyed this Post, SNORT at the next person you SEE!
Well, have a great day, and remember snorting at least once a day, will keep the doctor away!
