So let's begin!
I left my home in Brick, New Jersey at 4:00 AM and arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah around 10 AM on Tuesday, July 20.
I had to make sure I set my watch back two hours so I was on time for everything! Talk about running late, hu!?! (big grin)
Salt Lake City is amazingly beautiful.
From above… which I shared a photo from the plane of from my Android Phone to my Facebook Page!
On the ground… during the day (at the Palace Convention Center – where the Stampin' Up! Convention was held)
As well as during the night (at the Palace Convention Center)
Tuesday was my only free day – and It Was FUN!
– It started with a pleasant lunch in our hotel with my friend Debbie after checking in to the Radisson Hotel.
– Then I unpacked and ironed (to get that all done)
– I completed my 3D Flower Stem & Magnet Swap I started in May (just needed to attach the wooden stem). I was so excited when Stampin' Up! announced our Flower Power Party which was held the evening of the First Day (Wednesday).
My 3D swap went with our party Theme :) I was just alittle EXCITED!!!!!
Tomorrow I will share some photos of the Flower Power Party, trust me, you won't want to miss the photos!
– In the evening I met up with some friends who live all over the country - Denise from New Jersey, Janet from North Caroline & Debbie from Florida] at the Gateway Mall, where we did some shopping & had dinner….
I didn't have Blythe's number (from California) because my DROID crashed the day before I left! Let's not go there… UGH!!!!
But I heard she ate anyway… thank goodness… LOL (wuv ya B!)
At the center of Gateway Mall, they had a fun water fountain for children to run through. It was a hot evening and I think many adults were tempted to run through this fountain besides us! LOL
They played beautiful patriot music as the water danced. It was so enjoyable.
We ended our day with a nice dinner together at ACME – the BEST Hamburger Restaurant in Salt Lake City, UT!
Well, till my next post, keep smiling and love what you do with a passion! And if you don't, call me to sign up for Stampin' Up! right away! Life is to short, not to love what you do and who you do it with 🙂
