I have heard many people ask: How do You store your Stampin' Up! Sizzix Dies? It's a hot topic.
I believe the more organized you are, the easier and more fun it is to create! And I love to create!
Below is a photo of how I store all my Stampin' Up! Sizzix Dies & supplies. I am lucky to have a full cabinet designated for these items.
I used to store the dies in nice and neat piles, each laying on top of each other. But as you can image, I always wanted to create with the bottom die.. So I'ld have to pull out the whole pile, take the die, and put all the other back. It got old fast. Can anyone relate!?!?
I've been waiting for Stampin' Up! to offer Sizzix Storage, as they stated at the 2008 Stampin' Up! convention, but haven't offered any yet.
Then I thought, hum, what storage do we currently have, that might work for these products?
A light bulb went ON.. Don't you just LOVE when that happens!!
Stampin' Up! Forget-me-Not Keepers will work great! They hold my swaps & extra accessories like Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Hemp, Sponge Daubers and lots more… so they will work like a charm for these too!
I have the dies standing up, so I just need to pull the container out just a little pick what I want to create with and slide the container back. (See photo below)
Please keep in mind, you do not have to have a whole cabinet like I do for this storage system to work for you.
* Check it out I have two Keepers filled but the 3rd on on the right, is EMPTY – and Stampin' Up! has NEW Exclusive Dies coming out on JULY 1!!! WOO HOO
How did I live before the Stampin' Up! Big Shot!??! Was there even life!?!?!?! 🙂
I still have my XL Long Dies laying on top of each other, which can be seen in the first photo above. But everything else is wonderful.
If you look on the bottom shelf – (just took another photo – see below) I have a small wooden bin I covered with our delicious Designer Series Paper, which hold my Sizlits…. I just pull out my wooden bin, play and then put it right back in it's place. Life is GOOD!
I hope some of the ideas I've shared with you, can help.
