Well today is Day 2 – of our Leadership, and I'm looking forward to the Classes I chose!
Below are two Swap cards I made. I love dragging the edges of my card stock through my ink pad to make a unique background. It add a soft, but rough look. I also used our Stipple Brush. Unfortunately this photo does not show how nice and shiny the center of the flowers looks using Crystal Effect. But trust me, it does:)
They are both made usign the Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set, which is a Two Step – Stamp Set.
Instead of using both steps of the two step flower on the cards, I stamped them seperately.
The first card… I used the 'second step' of a two step flower.
The second card i USED the first step of a two step flower. Did that make sense? If you already know what a two-step stamp set is, it will… In the furture I will be showing the steps on how to create a two step stamped image. But that is for another day and another post:)
I hope you will try these simple techniques to spruce up your backgrounds & and spice to your whisper white or very vanilla cardstock!
Have fun creating!
