I think the Mayflower Ship found on page 31, in the Stampin' Up! Fall Winter Catalog is so adorable I just had to make it. If you do not have your very own catalog, please click on the Fall Winter Catalog photo on my Blog's right side-burn and scroll to page 31 to view it:)
After you do that, call or email me Today for your Catalog! We have hundreds of projects with the recipe for ALL in the back of the book! And all supplies are offered as well though this Idea Book! It can't get any easier to create! And if you have any questions, I'm always here to help!
I made two versions of this cute ship.
The Small Ship Template Download ShipTemplateFrenchFryBox.pdf (0.0K) (2" x 2 1/2") is using a French Fry template and needs to cut down, before you adhere it.
The Larger Ship template Download ShipTemplateLarge.JPG (68.9K) (4 x 4 1/2) just needs to be cut and score accordingly.
Stamp Sets: In Everything Give Thanks, Owl Together Now
Classic Ink: Chocolate Chip
Stampin' Write Marker: Basic Black (to make Owl's eyeglass rims), Pumpkin Pie (for nose)
Cardstock: Close To Cocoa, Natural Cream, Baha Breeze (In Color 09)
Accessories: Paper Cutter, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Crystal Effects, Paper Piercer, Needle, Natural Raffia, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive, 1/16" Hand-held Circle Punch, Vintage Brads, 3/4" Square Punch (used to make end of flag 'v'), Twig from backyard:)
Tip: I print the templates directly onto my colored cardstock so all that is left is to cut & score accordingly. No tracing involved! I do need to feed my cardstock from the top of my printer because the cardstock is to thick to go through the tray area.
Tip: After cutting & scoring ship, I drug my Chocolate Chip Pad over the cardstock to make a fun Fax wood effect.
I will be making this for Thanksgiving table place settings. I think I'll add some candy corn for a little more color:)
