Dear Family,
We need your help again. This time it is to help spread Apraxia Awareness. The first ever Apraxia Awareness Day is this coming Tuesday, May 14th. We’ve included a flyer from Vinnie to help raise awareness, education, and understanding.
Please print it, post it, or tell someone you meet on Tuesday about Apraxia.
Apraxia is among the most severe speech and communication problems in children. Kids like Vinnie have difficulty planning out how to move their lips, mouth, tongue, or jaw to make the words sound correct. They understand language well enough, but they can’t plan the speech movements to happen at just at the right time, in just the right order for the words to come out right and clear.

CASANA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Pittsburgh, PA dedicated to improving the system of support in the lives of children with apraxia of speech so that each child is afforded their best opportunity to develop speech and full communication. The organization raises awareness; provides support, information and education; and funds and supports CAS research.

Today I’ll be sharing lots of projects created by stamping friends using the Stampin’ Up! Big Shot and the exclusive Stampin’ Up! Petal Cone Bigz L Die #121810 that is retiring on May 31, 2013.
I was lucky enough to swap cards with Jackie who make the ice cream card below at convention two years ago! What a Special Birthday statement it makes when you hand someone that card!
Today I’m sharing wonderful projects created by myself as well as stamping friends using the Stampin’ Up! Big Shot and Exclusive Sizzix Dies called:
Scallop Envelope Bigz # 113462, Candy Wrapper Bigz L #120890 and the Cannery Set Framelits Dies #127822
Of course I have all of these dies, and I’m keeping them! How could I live with out them. Especially the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die that you can make cute baskets and boxes with!
